The FDIC’s Money Smart for Young People series consists of four free curriculum products. Each age-appropriate curriculum includes lesson plans for educators along with guides for parents and caregivers. Specialized curriculum is available for PreK-2, Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-12.

SplashLearn Counting Money Games

Understanding money is important to prepare your K-5 age children for a commercial world. SplashLearn’s online money games capture children’s attention through virtual coins they can tap on and flip over. Children learn about the different coins and their relation with each other. Further on, they practice with fun money problems by counting coins and calculating the change in a transaction.
